Relationship Dynamics, Evolve series has been so helpful to me and my relationships. It's rare to find a book that can be immediately helpful, and can be put to practical use in daily life! With the help of Evolve, my relationships and my understanding of conflict and my ability to resolve conflict has improved significantly! I can't wait for the rest of the series to be released!

Information that builds strength and clarity in identifying the problems with communication,and providing insight to change.This book has helped me to step away from unhealthy interactions,and separate my emotional reaction in conflict resolution.Definately good for identifying and correcting unhealthy methods of interaction.Some grown ups are stuck in juvenile mode,and reading this leaves no excuses or blame resulting in full accountability. An easy pleasurable read that left me more confident in my amended approach.

Not since Henry Cloud’s Boundaries have I enjoyed a psychology book so much. This comprehensive text reveals the 10 elements of a healthy relationship, explores the dynamics of romantic love and platonic, gives practical detailed descriptions of what healthy (and non-healthy) relationships look like, and frees the reader to pursue their highest awareness and existence through better communication and better self-observation. There are so many excellent thoughts in this book, I found myself highlighting passages frequently. Personal and interpersonal boundaries is just one of many topics explored in Relationship Dynamics and I believe this would be a great companion to other similar works.

If you have trouble saying “no”, find yourself lonely or depressed, can’t seem to make genuine relationships last, or simply enjoy self-improvement and introspection, this book is for you. I enjoyed Steven DeSalvo’s humble, enjoyable dialog, revelations, and appreciate that his tone is not condescending, but sincerely a desire to help.

Lo aconsejo de todo corazón. Es un libro fantástico que no decepciona en absoluto y que está a la altura del otro libro de Joël Dicker (El extraño caso de Harry Quebert).Yo no paré hasta terminarlo y me dio pena que se acabara. A modo de crítica es que a veces es un poco lioso tanto salto en el tiempo de atras para delante y viceversa, pues llega a confundir la secuencia en la que ocurren los acontecimientos y en qué momento estamos en la historia: si en el pasado o en el presente.

4.5/5 El libro de los Baltimore es un laberinto de conflictos humanos cuyos desenlaces resultan un tanto inesperados, pero lo que mas me gusto fue la forma inteligente de estructura de la historia. Nuevamente Joel Dicker me atrapa, me intriga y me mantiene con ansias hasta el final.

Sus personajes como en su anterior libro, estan super bien estructurados, su narrativa en primera persona se va alternandose con el pasado y presente de una manera que no te importa ya que cada capitulo te mantiene que no deseas soltarlo.

En realidad es un resumen del comportamiento, donde mas se refleja le envidia, los celos, inseguridad de si mismo y admiracion.

Lo recomiendo sin duda.

En un laberinto de conflictos humanos cuyos desenlaces resultan un tanto inesperados (lo que deseamos los lectores, generalmente), se diluye la profundidad en los personajes. Con excepción del protagonista, los demás personajes se dejan arrastrar o disuadir por las circunstancias, sin tomar en consideración el sentido común, la inteligencia o el peso de las consecuencias, al momento de sortear sus decisiones. No obstante, la novela está muy bien estructurada y escrita.

I wish I could give it a negative rating. The text is so ridiculously dense that I think the bankruptcy or the tax code would make a better reading. It's as if the author picked up a thesaurus and threw out fancy words just to make himself sound "learned". All he ends up sounding is ridiculously BOOOORING and thus incomprehensible. I have to use it to teach my class and I have had difficulty getting past page 20. My sincere condolences to my students and everyone else forced to deal with it.

Buyer Beware of Description

This product was described as nearly new. After opening the book for the first time and turning to the page that described the terms I wanted to explore, the page was heavily highlighted and there was handwriting all throughout. It was obvious the seller wanted to get rid of the book by advertising it in good condition. The writing and random circling is very distracting as it does not assist me in my own way of studying.

I may be slightly biased because this is my degree field, but this book was perfect! I wasn't left to google left out material that would be on an exam or wonder why information was left out. I am glad I didn't try to wing it without the book because it was worth getting.

Great addition to the Office bookshelf with something for everyone

I enjoyed this book's relaxed style and the brisk but effective coverage of key Excel areas. Topics range from entering formulas through to an excellent section on the complex topic of macros. There are plenty of practical examples which can be applied to real-world problems, together with frank discussions of the pitfalls you may come across.

There are also comprehensive lists of functions and shortcut keys, and tips which the author has gathered over a lifetime of working with Excel.

Make sure you register the book (steps are on a page almost at the back of the book, after the index) to get access to all the accompanying data files - particularly useful for the Pivot Table and Power Map sections.

Overall, a very good reference book on the latest version of Microsoft Excel.

FANTASTIC EXCEL 2016 REFERENCE!!!!

Are you a hard-core Excel 2016 user? If you are, then this book is for you! Author Bill Jelen, has done an outstanding job of writing a book that shows Excel 2016’s full power and updated interface.

Author Jelen, begins by explaining the new features in Excel 2016 and a few important features that you might have missed if you upgraded directly from Excel 2010 to Excel 2016. Then, the author shows you how to use the Excel user interface. He continues by walking you through examples of customizing the ribbon and discusses some of the important option settings available to Excel. Then, the author points out which of the old Excel 2003 keyboard shortcuts still work, shows you some new shortcuts, and introduces you to the keyboard accelerators. He then shows you how to understand and calculate formulas. Next, the author explains the finer points of formula operators, date math, and how Excel distinguishes between cutting and copying cells referenced in formulas. He continues by introducing you to Excel 2016’s five new forecast functions, which are being used by the new Forecast Sheet command. Then, the author describes the functions that you can access with the Formulas tab by using the Text icon, the Date & Time icon, and the Math portion of the Math & Trig icon. He then covers four groups of workhouse functions. Next, the author provides a reference to functions from the Web, Financial, Statistical, Trigonometry, Matrix, and Engineering functions. He continues by showing you how to do the following: Connect two worksheets; connect two workbooks; and, manage links between workbooks. Then, the author shows you how to use the Name Manager interface to assign and use names effectively. He then introduces you to the tools available in Power Query; as well as, traditional tools such as Sort, Filter, Remove Duplicates, and Flash Fill. Next, the author shows you how to summarize data by using subtotals or filter. He continues by showing you how use pivot tables to slice and dice your data in almost any imaginable way. Then, the author shows you how to perform ad-hoc analysis by choosing various items from various fields in the pivot table. He then shows you how anyone with Excel 2016 can build pivot tables from multiple tables. Next, the author discusses some of the Excel 2016’s features that are helpful when you are trying to find a specific answer. He continues by showing you how to edit recorded macro code, so that you can then record a macro that is close to what you want and edit that macro to create something that runs the way you want it to work. Then, the author looks at miscellaneous tips and tricks for Excel 2016. He then looks at how to format documents in Excel 2016 with the following three methods: Use tables styles; use cell styles; and, use formatted commands. Next, the author shows you a few tricks on how to set up basic conditional formatting. He continues by covering some general techniques for creating graphs. Then, the author discusses how to use 3D Map within Excel 2016. Finally, he shows you how to use sparklines.

In addition, the author has also done a fantastic job with this excellent book, by showing you some tips on how to create a workbook model and print it in Excel 2016. You've GOT to be kidding me!

I guess I'm going to be the only one-star review here, but this thing is worthless.

1. Grammar / Typos
No exaggeration when I say it's probably the worst writing I've ever encountered in a book. Run-on sentences, bad grammar and typos make it unreadable. (Did anyone proof this before publication?) Verbatim example: "When you are practiced this, the object will be more likely to start moving."

2. It's a pamphlet, not a book
Yes, it's bound like a book, but with a total of 41 pages (with several blank ones at the end) and huge images that take up halves of pages, there's very little content.

So, rather than deal with the whole Amazon return process, I ate the $7 and just threw this "book" in the trash. Save yourself the $7 and just google free content on the Web.

Good book to read real thing

Good and interesting book to read must give a go. One of the reason why I like it is because it's a good read and you can understand it a lot better than others. Not to mention it gets straight to the point!!!!
